A complete collection of the best resources online dedicated to the Eduard’s rettoled kit
What does a Company producing models kits a great Company?
The will to listen its customers, the modelers!
And with the BF109-G6 (retooled, code 82111) Eduard has clearly demonstrated that they care for they customers, they carefully listen their complains, and when these are motivated, quickly acts to satisfy them.
When two years ago Eduard released the first version of this kit, anticipated by an unprecedented advertising and social media campaign, the expectations of the modelers community were high.
So when the first reviews appeared, showing many inexplicable dimensional errors and detail discrepancies, the disappoint was big. The forums were full of people complaining.
But the folk at Eduard listened carefully, took notes, and with the humility that makes great a Company, started to work on the background to fix their mistaken.
The result is the new, retooled BF109-G6, code 82111, re-issued this year.
And this time the welcome of the modelers community was very different!
BEST G-6 IN ANY SCALE
As Brett Green pointed out in his long review at Hyperscale, Eduard has done more than simply correct the length of the fuselage and the wing span. A lot more. A significant number of parts have been redesigned, re-tooled or added to this new boxing. You really have to hand it to Eduard. They have clearly spent a lot of time, effort and money to understand and correct the problems with their 2014 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 release.
With its 186 parts in grey coloured plastic; 14 parts in clear; colour photo-etched fret; self-adhesive die-cut masking sheet; markings for five aircraft, the Eduard kit is easily the best 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 kit available today, and really is probably the best G-6 in any scale.
Brett Green review at Hyperscale

A terrific build step by step in 15 minutes
We didn’t find a very good video build of the new retooled kit, but the channel PLASMO on YouTube made one of the old kit, and it is very inspirational about painting and weathering a great model!
