Description

The Italian Runabout is the last in line of the grand tradition of mahogany runabouts, still built today exactly as it was 30 years ago.

The kit includes:
laser-cut wooden hull
Double hardwood veneers
Seats assembled and upholstered in fake leather
Chromed brass windshield
Detailed interiors
Model can be motorised with two electric motors.
Suitable for radio control

The motorising kit (1608/02), sold separately, includes two electric motors with reducer gears, two shafts with bushes and oilers, two propellers, electronic speed regulator (forward and reverse), two rudders with fittings, instructions.

Amati Riva Italian Runabout
Ottimo prodotto di impareggiabile bellezza. Mi piacerebbe che venisse maggiormente esaltato con degli Extra Kit di minuterie tipo fari, illuminazione, cuscini e sedili in seminpelle ecc. per potere offrire al cliente la raffinatezza che merita il vostro prodotto. Insomma una lode impareggiabile Italiana, quello che gli acquirenti stranieri si aspettano.

Italian Runabout build
The kit was packaged very well .Checking for all of the parts it was complete ,not missing anything . The instructions are fairly strait forward .All of the parts fit .The only problem I had was keeping the spine and ribs strait as I am used to building model aircraft where you build on a flat surface on top of the drawing .It might be a good idea to recommend building a jig to keep every thing in line , which I did . Also the parts list is only in italian .

Everything included is excellent, especially the wooden parts for the hull. \r\n+ All the parts was packed very neatly. Shipped in an extra sturdy external box for protection.\r\n+ It includes all the metal accessories except the metal steering wheel.\r\n+ It even includes the photoetched runabout decorations.\r\n\r\n- Some clarification regarding the included parts is needed in webshop description of model. I bought both the Runabout metal accessories and the photoetched runabout decorations in vein.\r\n- Missing the \"Riva\"-flag referred to in the manual.\r\n- Rubber moulded seats and padded trimings for cockpit and sundeck.

high standard but
I am nearly finish with this model and high standard again. The drawing is not so clear all the time and 1 parts was defect (Db. Seat) but I wrote to Amati and hopefully parts is on it way.
