M3 U.S. Halftrack

This 1:72 scale model depicts the famous M3 Halftrack, the versatile U.S. Army armored personnel carrier used by the Allies throughout World War II across Europe, Africa, and the Pacific.

Combining the mobility of a truck with the traction of a tank, the M3 Halftrack was employed for troop transport, artillery towing, and supply duties. Powered by a White 160AX 6-cylinder engine, it carried up to 12 soldiers and was armed with .50 cal and .30 cal Browning machine guns.

The Academy kit features finely molded tracks, detailed interior, mounted weapons, movable front wheels, and accurate open cargo bay seating.

High-quality decals offer markings for U.S. Army units in Normandy, Italy, and North Africa, finished in olive drab camouflage.
