Me262A-1/2 "Last Ace" Limited Edition

This 1:72 scale model represents the legendary Messerschmitt Me 262A-1/2 “Last Ace”, the world’s first operational jet fighter, released by Academy as a limited edition with exclusive markings and detailing.

Used during the final months of World War II, the Me 262 redefined aerial combat with its twin Junkers Jumo 004B jet engines, capable of reaching speeds over 850 km/h, far surpassing any Allied aircraft.

The kit features finely engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit, accurate landing gear, precise air intakes and exhausts, and includes options to build either the A-1a interceptor or A-2a fighter-bomber version.

High-quality decals reproduce the aircraft of Luftwaffe ace Franz Schall, the last pilot to score an aerial victory with a Me 262. The RLM 82/83 green camouflage with RLM 76 light gray undersides enhances realism and authenticity.
