The brig Mercury, launched in 1820 in Sevastopol, is an icon of the Russian Navy.
Originally designed as a patrol ship to defend the Caucasus coasts, the Mercury fought with heroism in many naval battles.

One of the most famous was against a larger Turkish fleet, where it demonstrated extraordinary resistance and courage.
Its history is filled with episodes of military valor, making it a symbol of maritime power and Russian national pride.
