Hawker Typhoon Ib

This 1:72 scale model represents the formidable Hawker Typhoon Ib, one of the most feared British ground-attack fighters of World War II, developed as a successor to the Hurricane and used with great success from 1943 onwards.

Powered by the mighty Napier Sabre 24-cylinder engine, the Typhoon could reach 660 km/h at low altitude, carrying an impressive load of RP-3 rockets, 500 lb and 1,000 lb bombs, and four 20 mm Hispano cannons.

The kit features finely engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit with full instrumentation, realistic landing gear, movable flaps, and a four-blade propeller.

High-quality decals depict the markings of the RAF No. 247 Squadron during the Normandy campaign of 1944, with gray-green camouflage and invasion stripes.
