285-ton schooner, Bluenose was the thrilling winner of the “II International Fisherman’s Trophy” in 1921.
The regatta, off the coasts of Nova Scotia and New England, admitted only fishing vessels. Bluenose achieved countless victories in subsequent editions, and no hull managed to take the precious cup from the Canadians for many years.
