Admiral Graf Spee

This 1:350 scale model depicts the famous German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee, one of the most renowned ships of the Kriegsmarine during World War II.

Launched in 1934, the Graf Spee belonged to the Deutschland class, designed to combine heavy firepower and long range within a moderate displacement. Armed with six 280 mm guns, eight 150 mm secondaries, and strong AA defenses, she outpaced many heavier ships. The ship gained fame after the Battle of the River Plate (December 1939), where she fought three British cruisers before being scuttled off Montevideo.

The Academy kit includes highly detailed parts, movable gun turrets, Ar 196 floatplane, optional full or waterline hull, and numerous fine deck fittings.
