Uss Missouri Bb-63

This 1:400 scale model reproduces the legendary battleship USS Missouri (BB-63), one of the most iconic warships of the United States Navy and a symbol of the end of World War II.

Belonging to the Iowa class, the Missouri was launched in 1944 and took part in the final operations of the Pacific campaign, including the bombardments of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. It was on her deck that, on September 2, 1945, in Tokyo Bay, the official Japanese surrender was signed, marking the end of the war.

The ship, over 270 meters long, was armed with nine 406 mm guns, 127 mm secondary batteries, and a powerful anti-aircraft armament, making it one of the most formidable battleships of its era.
