This 1:700 scale model reproduces the famous aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV-6), one of the most decorated ships of the United States Navy and a key participant in many major Pacific battles of World War II.
A member of the Yorktown class, the Enterprise, launched in 1936, took part in the battles of Pearl Harbor, Midway, Guadalcanal, Leyte Gulf, and Okinawa, noted for its extraordinary resilience and decisive contribution to Allied victory. Nicknamed “The Big E”, it became a true legend of the U.S. Navy.
The Academy model offers highly detailed reproduction, with optional full or waterline hull, detailed flight deck, movable catapults and elevators, miniature aircraft (SBD Dauntless, TBD Devastator, F4F Wildcat), cranes, radar, and anti-aircraft armament finely molded.
High-quality decals allow the ship to be built in its 1944 configuration, with authentic markings and Navy grey finish.
A compact yet historic model, perfect for fans of American aircraft carriers and naval military modeling.
